Close Diverticulitis

Last June, colonoscopy with diagnosis that I had diverticulosis. Then, in mid-August, severe pain and difficult BMs. Went to emergency room and then spent 5 days there. As I was about to be discharged, they discovered an abcess. They inserted needle and drained it. I was sent home with drainage and antibiotics for 2 weeks. Now, I'm struggling to find the right balance - some good days; then flare up. Depression and insomnia follow both. Hope to return to some semblence of normalcy.

Depression; insomnia; got through the regime, though.
