About Me
I'm a student from KS. I was going to KU School of Engineering and planning on becoming a Chemical Engineer, but the fatigue and pain forced me to change my plans. Now I'm working on a Finance degree. My Dr. has dx me with Undifferentiated Mixed Connective Tissue Disease, with features of Lupus and Rheumatoid Arthritis. RA runs on both sides of my family, so it makes sense. My symptoms make life difficult, but I still love being alive and I try to make the most of it. I am very spiritual and believe that everything happens for a reason. Currently, I'm on Plaquenil and take Naprosyn as needed.

Interests
I have too many interests to list here, but I'll do my best. I just LOVE animals, especially CATS. I love anything and everything about cats, and my calico is my little angel. I love her to pieces. I also sing, write, and draw. I love reading, and my current book is Brisingr. Lord of the Rings is my favorite movie andmy favorite music includes Celine Dion, Lara Fabian, Josh Groban, Loreena McKennit, and many many others! I'm also a HUGE science freak! SCIENCE! :P

- Clonazepam Working / Worked
- The klonopin really helps me get to sleep. If I take too much Im dizzy the next day so Ive worked on getting the correct dose. I also feel more relaxed as if my stress just melted away!
- Elavil Not Working
- Elavil helped me sleep, but made me severely depressed.
- Pain Management Clinic Working / Worked
- I learned a lot of stretches and yoga that help me keep moving and relax me. It works great.

Found out I have sleep apnea after the third PSG test. I'm on a Respironics AutoPap, but so far it hasn't helped. I have other chronic illnesses, so that might be one reason.

- CPAP Too Soon to Tell
- I've been on my AutoPap for 3 months. I'm still tired during the day, but since I have other chronic illnesses which I haven't found treatment for, I can't judge what the APAP is doing yet.
