Just between you and me.....that stash of brownies Wes has...well, knowing he is piloting a "heli". I made him a special batch - lacking the secret ingredient - so no worries about whether he decides to take a sample or two, the spirits, though, may be a different story altogether....you know how he is with bar stools! LOL

How are you this fine Friday? Jaz and I are all packed up, just waiting for Ramoths and Jan...then its off to get Jo Ann! Gotta tell ya though, I look like an apple with thorns with these glow in the dark cones on!
Well, you and Wes go easy on those spirits..we don't want you getting a DUI and land in the caboose while the rest of us are sunning ourselves on the beach! Besides we need Wes to help steer the boat!

Close COPD & Emphysema
I have Emphysema with an Asthma component. I was a smoker for many years but was only diagnosed with emphysema in May 2008. Prior to that the symptoms and spirometry testings only indicated the beginning of emphysema and I was prescribed Spiriva daily for 3 years. I was "officially" diagnosed in 2008 after a major respiratory episode that included a week in the hospital. I was then put on the other meds and oxygen.
Treatments
- Advair Working / Worked
- Albuterol Somewhat Helpful
- Do not use unless I am having breathing problems as those in colds, etc.
- Foradil Not Working
- Was not able to use past 1 week. I apparently need the steroids which it does not have.
- Spiriva Working / Worked
- I have been on it for over 4 years.
- Symbicort Too Soon to Tell
- Tried but Pulmonologist wanted me on Advair
Close GERD & Heartburn
Diagnosed with ulcer 15 years AGO. The ulcer healed but the acid reflux stayed. It is an ongoing treatment trying to control.

I have seen my investments tank since Jan 08. Not only that interest rate for money funds are so low that I look for the banks to start charging me for allowing them to use my money.
