I lost my best friend my sister Bettyann to complications of life long type 1 six years ago.I'm scared and get depressed alot. Need someone(s) to talk to and help me get motivated to turn things around. I want to lose some weight and get off the meds.

49 yr old female,diagnosed Nov.2007 with type 2. Also have issue with blood pressure and take meds for cholesterol. Gained alot of weight while going thru menopause, need to lose 40 lbs.Lost a sister to type 1 complications. I get very depressed and feel hopeless sometimes. Need encouragement and helpful advise to turn thing around.
