Close Endometriosis
I am 35 and was diagnosed with endo in 2005. Had a Laparoscopy surgery and did not help whatsoever. I changed doctors and she put me on YAZ birth control and made me feel depressed, tired and I spotted 3/4 the month, and the pain was still there, so I took myself off that.
Treatments
- Surgery Not Working
- My pain never disappeared at all even after the laparoscopy.
- Hysterectomy Working / Worked
- Too soon to tell. I had an LAVH on 6/12/07. My doctor said she got all the endo and scar tissue, I hope it does not return!!
Close Hysterectomy
I am 35 years old, married with 2 boys. I was diagnosed with endometriosis in Dec.05 via a Laparscopy procedure, which gave me no relief whatsoever. I switched doctors in Sept 06 and tried a birth control pill YAZ, no help whatsoever. My doctor just recently agreed it would be in my best interest to have a Laparscopically Assisted Vaginal Hysterectomy. I am hoping this will give me some relief.
Treatments
- Laparoscopic Surgery Not Working
- This surgery gave me no relief at all, at anytime.
- Oral Contraceptives Not Working
- These pills got me really depressed, no energy, lots of spotting, no relief from endo pain.
- Hysterectomy Too Soon to Tell
- June 12, 2007 I had a LAVH Hysterectomy. The doctor said she got all the endo and scar tissue. Hopefully, it will not come back!!
