5. Avoid diet soda. Generally diet soda are sweetened artificially. Although they are only five calories or less per beverage, the calories can add up and limit the beverages that are better for you.

6. Variation in exercises are vital to weight loss. Targeting one area of your body will not help your entire body to tome and reach the ideal shape. Often doing the same exercises day after day leads to a boring routine and possibly losing motivation to exercise. One day work on triceps and pushups. This actually will work three muscles instead of just one. The next day you can do lunges, dead lifts and squats. If you really have the motivation combine all of these into one workout. This will can burn the most calories because you are doing compound exercises.

Eating the right foods in healthy portions and exercising regularly is the best way to lose weight. To lose weight quickly you should combine vigorous exercises that target several areas at the same time.
