About Me
I was diagnosed with CHF in Sept '08 with an EF of 15-20%. Since then I have increased to 25% and feel a lot better. I received an ICD implant in December '08. I feel completely normal now, believe it or not. I mow the yard, walk a couple of miles a day. I'm a musician and I'm singing 4 hour gigs again, and I never get winded.....I have no idea what my EF is right now, they haven't checked it since last Fall. I'm very hopeful that with continued weight loss things well level off and I'll be healthy again! My ICD has been checked twice now and I've had no incidents and everything appears to be o.k. there. I'm hoping that with a positive attitude and exercise I'll live a long time!

hey sweetie , ur going to be just fine with thst pace maker , i have one going on 4 yrs in may of this coming new yr , have had cf , cardiomyapthy enlarge heart from it since april of 1998, i was only 49 then , i will be 62 next month went in at 17% , it stys at 24 %, my body has ajusted gto that all these yrs , i sometimes forget i have a bad heart , the other day i was plunging the kitchen sink , i paid for that the next day , hubby was very mad ====oh well , if you like read my page , besides all this , i lost my 19 yr old grandson in iraq last may , its never going to be the same ever again , whay him and not me ? god bless u , huggs +Pat

Treatments
- Aldactone Working / Worked
- I take 25mg 3 days a week (mon, wed, fri). I've noticed I feel better those days....
- Carvedilol Working / Worked
- 6.25mg twice a day, has done wonders for me.
- Lisinopril Working / Worked
- 2.5Mg every day no side effects.
Close Tinnitus
I've been a musician my entire life, and over the past year I've had ringing in my left ear, and it has recently started in my right. Just trying to get a handle on it and make the best of it!
