      I am married to Tony! We've been married for nearly 4 years! Career wise, I am a Personal Lines Insurance Specialist for a local insurance agent. On the side I sell couture jewelry (see interests). My passion in life is to make people feel good about themselves. Life is hard and we all know it and we can't make it sain with out friends to lean on and make us laugh!

      I once had a friend who recently gave me a quote that I am going to try to live by. I think you might find it helpful, too. Put things into perspective. It went something like this: You don't want to spend your entire life saying Thank God it's Friday, and Oh God it's Monday! I love you girl! Hope you have a fantastic weekend! *HUGS*

      Treatments

      Chiropractic Adjustment Working / Worked
      Chronic stess/tension headaches. 3 Months of Chiropratic adjustment relieved my pain. I went twice a week. Pain came back a year later because I did not go periodically to stay aligned. Need to go back not sure if my new insurance will pay for it however. :(
      Naproxen Not Working
      Did not phase my headaches.
      Physical Therapy Working / Worked
      Had physical therapy 2 times a week. They used electrodes and moist heating pads to relieve tension. It helped but was very expensive and hard to get off work early 2 times a week.
      Inderal Too Soon to Tell
      Just now started taking Inderal 60mg once daily for tension migrains. VERY AFRAID it will cause weight gain.
      Relpax Too Soon to Tell
      Just prescribed Relpax. Suppose to take one on the onset of a migraine. I took one however it did not relieve my headache. Therefore I do not feel I have tension migrains. More so I feel they are chronic tension headaches.

      Stress.. it's the Killer!

    • Open Acne

      Very oily skin with clogged pores that result in mild acne. Used Accutane (generic form) for a few months in 2004 and quit treatment early because I was afraid of damage to liver even though my tests came back fine. Currently using Differin Gel.

      Accutane Working / Worked
      Worked even though I stopped treatment early I did see huge improvement.
      Benzoyl Peroxide Somewhat Helpful
      pretty good at drying up exsisting pimples.
      Differin Working / Worked
      Makes skin very dry.
      Proactiv Somewhat Helpful
      No longer using
      Washing Working / Worked

    • Open Skin Cancer
      Type: Basil Cell Cacinoma

      I had a basil cell on my right abdomen removed.

    • Open Congenital Heart Disease
      Type: Other

      My father has progressed heart disease and most recently, the doctocs have found what they think to be a clot in the heart. Scary stuff.
