Well I finally got an appt with the surgeon at the U of M who works with Dr. Freeman. November 5th my husband and I will go and get all of our questions answered about the surgery. I'm glad I got in so quickly- at this point if he wanted to do the surgery on Christmas day I wouldn't care. I'm almost certain that I'm going ahead with the surgery, not even knowing all the risks at this time. I realize that this is my only shot at living my life how I want it to be. And if you can't do anything you want to do, then what is the point of living in the first place? I've lost 3 years to this, and the most devastating was this past year. It's a miracle my marriage has survived through it, actually. I'll update after my appt with my decision!
