So at school today, I met two new people and I'm really excited. One of them was really awkward but he had gorgeous eyes, and the other one was …

  • Support Groups

    • Close Transgender

I don't have much of a story to tell, but I'm a gay man living in a woman's body. As of now, I have no plans to do anything about it.

    • Close Chronic Pain

Chronic headaches, joint pain, back pain, migraines, all of it.

      Treatments

      Heat Somewhat Helpful
It helps sometimes with joint pain and things like that, but it never takes all the pain away.
      Physical Therapy Working / Worked
I've been in biofeedback, which is probably the closest to physical therapy on here, and it works fairly well. I recommend it, if not to actually cure the pain, but to deal with it better and understand your body more.
      Topamax Not Working
I tried Topamax for a while, and it really didn't do much to help with pain. It made me really dizzy and nauseous and it wasn't worth it for what it did.

    • Open Acne

      Treatments

      AcneFree Working / Worked
It's working well so far, sometimes I have to give my skin a break from it though because it is drying and it also hasn't helped with all of it.
      Benzoyl Peroxide Somewhat Helpful
It works pretty well, it just dries out my skin a lot and doesn't help with all of my acne.
      Proactiv Not Working
Proactiv made my skin a lot worse. I definitely don't recommend it.
      Retin-A Somewhat Helpful
Retinol helps with those pesky dried-over bumps, and it definitely helped me with skin-grown-over whiteheads. It can be harsh, though.
      Washing Somewhat Helpful
Washing is always helpful as it helps to remove dirt and oil from the skin's surface.
    • Open Carpal Tunnel Syndrome

      Treatments

      Ibuprofen Working / Worked
      Pain management rocks.
      Wrist Splint Somewhat Helpful
It helps to stabilize the wrist so it doesn't progress as much.
    • Open Insomnia

      Treatments

      Counting Sheep Not Working
Counting sheep basically just gets numbers stuck in my head, and that's really annoying.
      Lavender Not Working
      Ouch! Headache trigger.
      Music Somewhat Helpful
Music is a nice distraction, but my thoughts still race.
      Reading Somewhat Helpful
It's helpful when you need to get tired, but it doesn't actually get you to sleep at all.
    • Open Gay & Lesbian Teens

I suppose I count as a gay male, even though I'm externally female.

    • Open Self-Injury

      Treatments

      Psychotherapy Working / Worked
      Therapy definitely helped a lot.
      Squeezing Ice Working / Worked
Squeezing out is fun, distracting, and definitely helps to calm as an alternative to injury.
      Talking Working / Worked
Talking is always a great way to get out feelings, and to understand a connection with others.
    • Open Weight Loss For Teens

I need to lose weight to try and get rid of extra body fat so I have less of a female figure.
