Well, at least my wallet was found!
So it was found at a bar 5blocks from my bar. So now we know it was either stolen or I dropped it and someone found it and decided to keep it. We reviewed the security tape from that night and think we know who it is.
So heres the scenario...the "suspect"'s name is Kjell. (Pronounced, Chell) We have him on tape walking over to the booth where I had been sitting. He's there for a split second, then he walks up to the Bar Manager, Tracey, and tells her that there was a bunch of stuff at that table and that he didn't feel comfortable sitting there. Tracey told him then it probably meant someone else was alewady sitting there! He stands there for a minute and then walks back over to the table and sits down. (the table is just out of the camers view) Less than a minute later, he gets up and is just about to head for the door and a lady named Della calls him over. The whole time he has his right hand in his coat pocket. He talks to Della for a minute and then makes a bee-line for the door.
Two days later, my wallet was found, behind a garbage can, in the mens room at a bar 5 blocks away. Luckily, they knew me at that other bar because I used to work there years ago. When it was found, it was almost like whomever took it, left it somewhere where it would be found.
Anyway, I'm just happy to have it back! Although, it'sd all wet and I probably will never use it again! But, of course, the day I got it back, was the day I cancelled all my cards and spent 3 hours at the Department of Licensing replacing my ID! Oh well! I like the new picture better!

I'm glad you found it, although it's terrible to think about someone taking it, knowing it belonged to someone else. I realize crime takes place every day, but hearing about it firsthand from you makes it seem worse somehow. Hugs!
