So, it's been a while since I've posted an entry in here. But I feel the need to tell everyone about this.

I couldn't figure out what to get Chad for Christmas. I finally decided to get him a PSP. The one with the Madden '09 package. My next problem was how I was gonna go purchase it. I don't drive so getting to the store can be a challenge. As it turns out, the day came when I was going to purchase it and the only person that could give me a ride was Chad! So, I had him drop me off at Target, then I would sneak down to Best Buy and get his PSP there. It was also the only place that still had the Madden package. So I sneak down to Best Buy and they literally had 2 left in the entire store! I grabbed 1 and started heading up to the register and all of a sudden the smoke alarm goes off and we have to evacuate the entire building!

At this point I was really wondering if this is what I should get him. Was this a sign? I got to the front by the registers and was met with a "we can't ring anyone up til after we come back in." She didn't know how long we would be standing out there. I told her, "no, I'm buying this now! You only have 2 left!" At that moment, I felt like one of those crazed shoppers, desperate for that one last gift! She told me we could put the game behind the counter and when we can go back in, I should just go through that particular line.

Problem solved, right? Wrong! Chad thinks I'm at Target and is on his way back to get me. (He dropped me off then went to get gas, cuz I told him I'd only be 5 minutes!) So I had to call him to let him know what was going on and I had to tell him I was at Best Buy, not Target! But everything turned out ok! I got the PSP and he LOVES it! He hasn't put it down since he opened it!
