I have been diagnosed with CTS in 2006 on both hands. I have had the Carpal Tunnel & Ulna Nerve Release surgery on my left hand, but still have the pain & tingling sensations. I didn't have surgery on my right hand, cuz of the results from my left hand.

Close Carpal Tunnel Syndrome
When I was injured while I was working I had been working as a Data Processor for about 6 years. I was diagnosed with CTS in 2006. I had surgery on my left hand in 2006 & in 2007, but I still have pain & the tingling sensations on both hands. I hate the pain and don't know what else to do.... I have been off of work and it has been awful staying home with the pain.... My life has turned upside down with this illness and I want to get back to life, but don't know how to.
Treatments
- Carpal Tunnel Release Surgery Not Working
- Had two surgeries on one hand, but I still have the pain, burning, and tingling sensations.
- Ibuprofen Somewhat Helpful
- I hate to use the my medicine, but sometimes the pain is so bad, that I end up taking it on a daily basis....
- Wrist Splint Working / Worked
- Sometimes work.
- Physical Therapy Somewhat Helpful
- Did it before I had surgery and twice after my surgeries... Helped at first but then the pain came back.
