I am a new member to this group and also help manage a group on: http://groups.msn.com/BloodClotSurvivorsDVTPE My DVT experience was with "HIT" in 2002 and I currently have post phlebitic thrombophlebitis that is chronic in nature. Prior to this incident I ran 5 miles/daily and was very active. The pain however disables me and I can no longer work. I am constantly climbing back through conservative treatments (stockings and narcotic therapy. I am looking forward to meeting everyone!
Had my kidney removed with Stage 3 Renal Cell Carcinoma - Remaining Kidney is failing - beginning stage 4. Would love to talk with anyone that is dealing with a similar problem, has ideas on preventive care (I can't tolerate the dyes from CT/MRI, etc.
