I went for my weekly appointment yesterday at 37 weeks 2 days and he checked to see if I was dilated (which I'm not!) and while putting on my clothes I noticed I was bleeding quite a bit... which I know usually happens after dr's appointments (and sex...) but I haven't bled this entire pregnancy so I was kind of worried. DH went to get doctor who said don't worry spotting is normal but then when he saw how much it was he was like "oh that's not normal!" and I had to put my feetsies in stirrups while he checked me again! Which hurt like a bitch cause he had to use clamps and a swab and search around to see where the blood was coming from. DH said I had tears in my eyes. Ya it hurt pretty damn bad!
It was coming from my cervix so he wasn't worried, but man what a scare! The weird thing is that today I stopped bleeding in the morning but kept a pad on, and about noonish I found weird mucous-y blood on it... and no bleeding since, so I'm praying that was my bloody show!!! hahah but i won't know i guess haha
