  I think my neuro said the glycolic wouldn't help with the occipital neuralgia (the front of the eye area). I just don't what to say about that right now...

  Hi Mary! Yes, I don't know what happened but my cheek & jaw are really hurting. I could be a fool and it could be the combo of the nortriptapline/cymbalta that has been helping me all a long and not the muscle work and the nortriptaline may need to be upped. Well, I am sure the muscle work helps some. But i get this ache that feels like a deep bone rot in to my bones or skull and I have it in my jaw right now. I made the mistake of opening my jaw wide last night & any time I yawn it throws it in to wicked pain. I see my doc in friday and I am talking my husband w/me as back up for a good pain regimen. I need an MRI... How about you? Do you think the glycolic was a good choice? My previous doc pushed it on me but I was too nervous. I have had so many procedures go wrong. I even had a needless sinus surgery (to fix my face pain - NOT!) that was really heinous that took a good year to recover from and I know that it caused a lot of extra pain w/ me. Ouch, just talking about my pain hurts! Ahhh..... But I am thankful! I am reading... there are worse pains here on DS and worse problems. I hope you have fun with your grandbabies!!! My little Cassidy has copped an ATTITUDE. My kids become boogers at 4 (not 2 or 3). But she isn't getting away with anything. She won't go to the pool if she misbehaves and that is pure torture!   I am doing good. I have been getting a good dose of sun each day (first I drink milk) because I have read that Vitamin D is so important for relieving pain. I think it works. I am certainly not the girl I was back in October and when I see a new person join and they are in horrific pain I really feel for them. The deep tissue work has really helped with my constant pain & I know I am driving some people crazy because they don't want to hear about it anymore. But, I had 8 years worth of eye pain that a good dozen doctors couldn't figure out and it is documented as a neck trigger point and if you have knots in your neck that aren't massaged out, you will have pain in your face (and eye). Picking up my little Cassidy all of the time can certainly cause knots in my body. I am also getting back in to shape with some more exercise. I have also been getting my girls more exercise. They have been swimming each day and jogging. I feel great about that. While I was so sick they were little shut-ins and they gained so much weight. They are little rolly-pollys and now I have to their weight off and mine ;o) But they love to move so I have that to work with. I hear you are painting? We are all artists in our house. We have a big art studio and that is where we spend our time. Art is the best thing in the world. I am finishing up my website & when it is polished I will send you my link.
