These aluminum windows are as old as I am
Im far from my Kentucky home and still...
The first springtime rain smells as sweet as it did
When the coal dust would blow across that bluegrass town
Now we listen to the rain fall through old windows of our own
And I fall into bed, your arm behind my head
As I lay here I know we may fall
but we fall together and love together
And we rise again and we try again
All I need is your love to rain on me
We can fall all night to the smell of the first springtime rain
Rain on me and drown my tears
Make me a believer now...
Drown my doubt, teach me how to swim
cause the floods a'comin now
And when the sunrise is at our old windows,
beaming in on your face
I'll know we made it through the flood
Cause my tears washed away with the rain

I wrote this one on the first day of spring this year... it rained and I was reminded of home and new beginnings... especially for us :)

A place for people in younger relationships, be it newlyweds, fiances, or long-term relationships, who are dealing with the pain and confusion of infidelity. This is also a place to try and make friends and also talk about anything on your mind, even if it doesn't relate to infidelity. The problems in a 4 year relationship after infidelity, I believe, are a bit different than in a 30 yr marriage. I hope this helps some of us find strength in each other and our common ground.
