I get through them as best I can and as my brother says, I am like a phoenix. I have ambitions and dreams that I am in the process of achieving and I am determined to keep going. Oh my poor girl. I am so sorry about your kitty. My grand-cat, Clive. He has been very strong and brave. And so have you. He'll be your new guardian angel. He'll be out of discomfort. Just know that you're the best cat mommy in the universe and did all you could to help him physically and emotionally. I'm praying for you to be strong and accept his departure willingly and it's the ultimate show of love you can give. I love you all. Momma

Close Bell's Palsy
I was REALLY stressed out and had PTSD symptoms return because of unpleasant experience. I felt like I was getting a cold and two days later woke up with BP.

Close Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder
In 2005, I was mugged. I was trapped in an elevator, bashed in the head 5X with a rock and fought for my life. Hey, I won! And he went to jail for 12 yrs with my help. But it has been a LONG, lONG road...I still have triggers here and there, but overall feel WAY better. I hope to help others with my experience.

Open Brain Injury
I was attacked and beaten in the head with a rock 5x 3 yrs ago. I was fortunate to be alive...I had MTBI. At first, I had word finding difficulty,confusion, fatigue, forgot how to sew (I am a pro), and migraines/brain pain every day for over a year. Eventually, I got better. Now, my right leg drags behind me once in a while and I reverse letters in words. When I get migraines.. they are hard to get rid of. I am grateful, however that it was not worse.

It took YEARS to diagnose. I was on Depo a long time ago and I believe it created the endo. I had surgery to diagnois it. Also had adenomyosis...ouch.

Open Chronic Fatigue Syndrome
15 yrs ago I moved to NYC and had to move back home because of CFS. I had Epstein Barr Virus. I was bedridden for almost a year. I have been good ove the years, with some symptoms presenting here and there. That did not stop me... I came back to NY in 2002.

Open Pet Bereavement
My 15 1/2 yr old cat companion is terminally ill. It began with an IBS - possible lymphoma episode. He then acquired diabetes because of the meds. Now, his kideny levels are not good, has a heart murmur and ketoacidosis. We gave him one last try yesterday. I decided to forgo another ound of treatment and spend the night and day together. Tonight, I will be taking Clive to send him back to God. He is an angel in fur and I am grateful for his love.
