The doc called this morning and said that the injection-site reaction I had to my Humira is "not uncommon." (The area is much less red today and no longer raised, thank goodness.) He said I could go ahead with the next scheduled injection but to have some cortisone cream handy (as Dawn mentioned--thanks, Dawn).
I'm a little scared about next time. Depending how much anxiety I have, maybe I'll drive down to the doc's office and have the nurse give me the injection. Or maybe I'll just have a drink beforehand to relax myself ;-)

I know how you feel. Ice also really helps when it's red. Hugs.
