Close Multiple Sclerosis (MS)
Type: Relapsing-remitting MS

I was diagnosed in 2005 I started with Copaxone until I became pregnant with my second child I felt wonderful through out my pregnancy no flare ups or symptoms but was told it would go into remision during the pregnancy. My father passed away sept 2007 that is when my symptoms became worse a year later I am still in a relaps. I finally had to stop working a job that I have been doing for six years working in a group home for the Mentally Ill. i loved it but my safety was at risk.

Treatments

Betaseron Not Working

I don't feel it is helping been in a relaps for a year now

Copaxone Working / Worked

I feel It was the better treatment for me but I didn't like the injection site pain or the daily injections

Neurontin Somewhat Helpful

Helps with the pain in my legs and the spasms

Physical Therapy Somewhat Helpful

It helped until I was unable to walk to get there

Prednisone Working / Worked

I recive a four day iv injection every other month I feel great and am able to walk with out a cane or walker for two weeks then I go back to not being able to walk with out assistance
