if you havent already read 3 days ago i was in a serious car accident where i have been lucky to come away not only alive but with no broken spine and i say this not meaning that its nothing but compared to dead i am lucky to have broken ribs, simply its a bit of a miricle.
i'm really angry, upset and well tired and in pain tonight
angry and upset because of a hug someone sent me, which simply said words to this effect, that it would be better to be dead than be paralized or have a brain injury or worse.. well you know what im surprised i never said how angry this has made me sooner, when i was young there was a freak accident at my school that left me with a brain injury, that hug has not only said that it would be better for me to have been killed then have some problems now but its also saying that people with brain injurys or paralisis are better off dead because they couldnt possibly be able to live very fullfilling lives in that persons eyes
i am also really upset cos i know depressions a bitch and lifes fucking awful but if nothing else this has made me realise how important it is.
im alive
please to you all with problems i know its hard but get as much help as you can so you can get past this and stop spending your time wishing you were dead
were all here for some reason please dont waste your lives, others dont get that choice
i'm sorry if this is wrong to post but i needed to say that!

I'm sorry that someone thought that about people with problems. Everyone has a great deal of worth no matter their circumstances. That would have greatly upset me too. You are so loved and it would be less of a world without you in it no matter what happened to you in the accident. I feel honored to have you as a friend. I sure hop your ribs heaqickly.

I'm sorry that you were hurt by someone's hug. We should all be execpted no matter how we are but this is a cold cruel world we live in. And some people just don't get it that all have a right to life.
I'm happy to be getting to know you, and I hope we can have a real loving relationship as we come to know each other better.
Take care,
hugs Cathy

Some people say things without really thinking beforehand. A lot of people with disability have more fulfilling lives than a lot without. It's the whole taking life for granted thing.

I am just pleased you are ok. Just online at an internet cafe and checking in on my friends. May you stay strong and allow whatever healing needs to take place to continue
