Ray of Sunshine
This poem is written to the friend That I have never met - Who'll think of me until the end, And whom I'll not forget. Without a friend to call my own what would my poor heart do? Without a friend to cheer me up I'd remain so sad and blue. Without a friend to make me smile a frown would rule my face. I found out I had SA about 6 years ago. I was sleeping around the clock (or so I thought) I was sleeping. I woke up and couldn't breath. That was very frightening. I would dream I had a needle in my mouth and was holding my breath so it wouldn't go down my throat. I started using a C-pap and though not pretty I feel that it has saved my life.
Treatments
- CPAP Working / Worked
- Yes for a while but I have other sleep disorders so it seems one runs into another.

I had a complete hystoectomy at the age of 26 so about 21 years ago. At this point I was under the impression that I had already been through menopause. So to my huge surprise I go to the Doctor and explain what is going on I have loss of hair, no energy, emotional. Extream dryness. Doctor checks me out and said I was going through menopause. I can just not believe this and don't understand why I wasn't informed what would happen to me once I got of the HRT.3 years ago.

I am 48 yrs old and just dignosied.

- It is working but I am on 80 mg a day. I have narcalepsy also so it is a real challange. When I first take it I seem to get tired. But if I don't I can't seem to concentrate on anything.
