      57 yr. old retired teacher just diagnosed with MM. Presenting symptoms included 4 broken ribs and 4 broken vertebrae. Receiving treatment at Mayo Clinic. Good response to first month of Revlimid- protein levels in blood and urine dropping but still elevated. Stem cell harvest and storage scheduled for January with probable full transplant. Eager to hear from those who have taken Revlimid and/or had transplant.

      Thanks for replying to my "worried" post. 9 hour drive to Mayo-wow. Do they coordinate with a local hematologist? Do you get your meds/infusions at Mayo? I have just LOVED everyone and the care at mayo. Where will you be having your stem cell transplant? I see Dr Baudi there. I am sure my results will be ok and we will continue to wait and see. Like a ticking time bomb. I can't believe you had so many fractures! You must have been in horrible pain. Thanks for sharing a bit of your story! Julie
