  I stopped my alcohol addiction

        and my love/hate affair with smack!

        I split up with my wife

        I hated myself for that.

        Hepb+c insulin diabetic

        45 years old feeling pathetic,

        I started to try and stop the rot!

        Giving up drinking, drugs, wife the lot.

        I'm not looking for sympathy

        I've done all of that.

        I am trying to do the right thing

        Though sometimes it feels like I'm not!
