Close Hearing Loss & Deafness
I lost my hearing about 8 years ago and am now profoundly deaf. I have a teenage daughter who is amazing.
Treatments
- Hearing Aids Working / Worked
- I am soon getting new aids as the ones that I have at the moment don't work well and leave me very tired and confused.
- Lip Reading Somewhat Helpful
- Some situations work ok but I feel quite isolated sometimes.
Close Tinnitus
I am severely deaf and have had tinnitus for about five years now.
Open Carpal Tunnel Syndrome
Have just had surgery and am waiting for stitches to come out!
