1813 calories.   207 weeks to goal  Yesterday went pretty good. Stayed busy most of the day.  If I keep myself busy mentally and physically there is little time to focus on food.  I just can't do the menu thing etc.  When I do all of that, I focus on food too much and doing that creates hunger and hunger means I'm going to eat.  There is such a huge mental connection to my eating!!!  When I just eat because I am hungry, not trying to figure out how not to be hungry and keep in the calorie zone then I'm ok. 

 

I eat what my body needs at the moment.  If its vegetables I'm hungry for then thats what I eat.  Protein is a big thing and I get my protein cravings so I open a can of tuna or salmon or boil a couple of eggs.  I really do pay attention to what my body is needing though and try to satisfy that particular need. 

 

I have slept better the last couple of nights by saving some calories for before bed time and eating my bowl of cereal.  It has really helped a lot.  I'm thinking that my blood sugar had not been stable while trying not to eat before bed time and this was contributing to the insomnia. 

 

I also have these little frozen meals.  They are about 300 calories each and are just the perfect amount to satisfy my hunger. I can pull one out of the freezer, not even really think about it, put it in the microwave and in 4 minutes have a hot lunch.  Oh did I mention they are about a dollar at Walmart?  So I have a hot lunch, within my calorie budget, I don't have to think about it much and it cheap.  What more could a girl ask for?  Found them for 88 cents the other evening, on sale and stocked up.  Nice Nice Nice.  Lunch for under a buck and within my calorie range!!!  Beats the dollar menu at any of the fast food chains. 

 

My clothes are fitting a tiny bit looser today so I think that I'm losing fat.  Also it seemed to me that I didn't have to quite look around my tummy as much to see the scale this morning.

 

Well, its going to be a busy day.  I have lost my new ATM card and need it desperately!!  Looked every where for it last night and still no card. I have the new atm number but no card!!  Wonder if this is old age, MS or am I just forgetful?  Who cares.  I need that card.  Back to the hunt.
