      Suffering for 14 years now with fibro. I have OA, DDD. IB. restless leg, sleeping problems, hip problems, flat feet, mild depression at times, high blood and cholestrol problems. Married for 21 years, Have 2 sons one who will be 20 and the other 18 and my beautiful daughter Tina who is an Angel. (she died from synovial sarcoma 15 years ago 2 weeks after diagnosis) thats when my problem started. Tired of doctors, drugs, treatments and Blue Cross. When I find something that helps BC won't cover it. Waiting for SS . tired of being broke.

      Sounds like a good idea. Not sure either of them could handle the dragon though....it would do them both in. LOL Yeah....I quit smoking cigs about 12 yrs ago. It was my HS graduation gift to my youngest son. I have no desire to smoke at all, in fact, can't stand the smell any more. I had emphysema before I quit....so I have issues with breathing too. Now my weed smoking doesn't seem to bother me as much as the cigs did. I know that feeling....I can only do so much and when I go anywhere, I have certain things I have to take with me to insure my comfort for the time I am there. Everyone is used to me carrying all my pillows and blankets with me. LOL Hope your day is a good one! Gentle hugs....

      thank you, I just came from my primary doc . When I told her I was going for disabilty. She said "What for"When i told her Fibro, artritis, hernated disc. She looked at me and said she needed proof I said I had been told by 3 rhem doctors that i have it and had given her all 3 reports a year ago. Thank you and i hope u hav a great day Beege

      hi have had fibo since 1995 after the sudden death of my daughter who was 15, she died 2 weeks after diagnosis from synovial sarcoma. 2 boys 17,19. husband married 20 years who just goes with the flow and tries to compare my pain to his LOL. we even moved to a warmer climate (florida) and my oa is terrible here.

      Acupressure Somewhat Helpful
      I found that in my chiropractors clinic the therapist does pressure point. and thank God it is all included in the price. I"ll tell you it has helped. I wish the masage was included. thats $35.00 extra cant afford it now msbey someday.
      Acupuncture Working / Worked
      only needed it 1 time and pain in neck and arm was gone. Doctor does not take bcbs, he said it would be to expensive and years to try to correct the fibro he couldn't guarentee anything
      Cyclobenzaprine Working / Worked
      works good helps during day. Soma better but soma makes me sleep. Flexeral doesn't make me sleep
      Cymbalta Not Working
      had to get off extreme sweating had to change 4 to 5 times a day
      Duragesic Patch Considering
      I don't think they make one large enough. Pain all over

      have to take pressure off legs and back or I would fall

      works great but puts me to sleep. I just take one 350 mg at night. If flare up is really bad. I will take one during the day and go straight to bed.
      Cortisone (Injection) Working / Worked
      I have had tem in my feet and it helped allot but hurt. I have them in my bottom and helped a little
      Darvon Working / Worked
      Take when needed. Some times 4 a day sometimes none. so used to being in pain and tired of meds . This is the best
      Epidural Injection Working / Worked
      I have had 2 and it didn't help. then doctor gave me a bi-lateral which helped a little more took the pain from a 10 to about a 7 then within a couple of weeks it was back o a 10. This did not hurt they purt me to sleep for a short while. Was told this is bad for the muscles?????
      Flexeril Working / Worked
      works a litte doesnt put me to sleep like soma so its ok for pain during the day.
      Heat Working / Worked
      Heat and Ice I alternate. Ice seems to help more with inflamation
      Ibuprofen Working / Worked
      Just take a sugar pill i is about equal to that. No help
      Morphine Working / Worked
      the only time I had Morphine I threw up. Afraid of Contin

      still do it. Keeps me moving. but doesn't strenghten the muscles.

      rest is the best when in a flare up. Along with the pain med and soma

      do it all day helps a little bt muscles just tighten again

      I got a new one. seems to get a little deeper but not deep enough

      Married 20 years with 2 children. Husband is an alcholic. 4 liters of wine daily. Starts about 2 or 33 pm then passes out about 7:30. A doctor Jeckle and Mr Hyde. Great guy in the am then the drinking starts. I noticed he takes his pm meds about 5 pm. He is also on blood thinners for an irregular heart beat. Does not remember what he says. we all just go to our different rooms to avoid conversation. Kids dont bring friends at home. Getting tired of this. have allot of death in our lives

      My deaar friend has a grown daughter who refuses to stay on her meds. She thinks they are poison to her system. Laws will not let her mother know full dignosis. She needs help bad. I looked up sites for her to call for help. They say call her case worker on Mon. Case worker won't talk to her. They live together and mom is in fear for her life. I told her to call the police and ask them. She brings in no money, moms hours cut and pay. what do you do?
