Black Belt prep class tonight, and visited another dojo Fri
I had my black belt prep class tonight, and one of the things we had to do was some of our moves in front of the class. I worked with a woman …
I'm a 45 year old Lymie, wife and mother. Married my husband in 1983 - 25th anniv is coming up in November. Our daughter, our only child, is 11. I work at a major financial institution, where I manage software projects. I love my family, and enjoy my job. I have 1 sister (older) and 1 brother (younger), and my Mom (my Dad died last summer). My login name is from the style of karate I study, Uechi Ryu, and sounds like "weechee rue"

Some sunshine and a Sunday hug for you Jenn!
After all this time.. and maybe you already told me or us all, what does Uechi mean and how do you pronounce it? Happy Halloween, Jenn.
Holding my breath, till my cheeks puff out. Squeezing uber right. And hoping all that effort turns your rain to sunny daylight!!!!
We are proud. This is a whole new stage of life, and it is exciting (when it isn't scary)
Thanks for the nice comments.
I did it! See my journal!
I am waiting for official diagnosis of Lyme, but am 99% sure this is what has been making me feel so awful. Muscle aches, joint stiffness, difficutlty concentrating, disoriented sometimes, vomiting. Fun stuff ;-)
Have had GERD for several years.
Not sure if it's Fibromyalgia, still being tested
Weight's been a problem my entire life. I have a chronic disease that causes muscle pain, fatigue, and air hunger - and trying to figure out how to regain fitness in spite of it.
20+ years of TMJ, then chronic Lyme setup trigger points in my lower back. Horrible. TrP massage has made a world of difference; I can manage the pain, and no longer need to take mountains of ibuprofen for my TMJ.
Two friends have MS, and I'd like to know how to support them.
