Hello All! My name is Kristie and I currently live happily with my husband Matthew. I am a social worker, and my husband is in law enforcement. Over the past 5 years we have grown up together and just realized that in our growing up phase, our bellies have grown as well. We have hit a few barriers, which has led us on the fertility path, which has proven to be one of the most emotionally draining processes of my life. Good morning! Hope all is well with you. Have a question. Have you ever used a fertility monitor? I am thinking about getting one, but they are so expensive and someone mentioned buying one on ebay.
I was diagnosed in 2006 after gaining 70 lbs in less than a year. My doctors just kept telling me to exercise and eat good, but the weight just kept coming on. My periods stopped being regular in 2005, which had never happened to me before. Finally after 6 OBGYN appointments that I made telling her that something was wrong because I was not having a period, fat and furry, my doctor finally diagnosed me with PCOS 18 months after my first appointment.
