There is so much activity around me. I have said before I live right across the street from a huge Park. Tonight they have put up temporary corrals and there are lots of beautiful horses over there. Beautiful to look at and I love the way they talk to each other.
In the morning the big parade starts..across the street is the staging area for all of the floats and displays and then the parade starts 2 blocks away, so it will be noisy and exciting in the a.m.
Today was Sneak a Peek night at the Stampede grounds, so all of the midway was open rides, games, lotteries, bingos, beer gardens etc. Just a five to eleven there was a huge flash of lightning followed by the loudest claps of thunder and 2 mins after that the fireworks display started. So it was a beautiful flashing sky from nature as well as mankind.
Another GF day...loving it. Gratitude for no urges...family here tonight so they can get a head start on the parade crowd and to get a good seat.
I feel wonderful, and grateful....am getting just a small taste of that serenity I've been seeking...fantastic.
Have a good 24 all.
Blessings
Mary

Mary, Hi, your journal was absolutely beautiful. I could hear the horses talking to each other, too. No urges...feels wonderful, I know. And the gratitude to go along with it is another wonderful feeling...serenity! Love you...Robin
