Oh dear. Well had an appointment with my OBGYN today. he is calling me back at the end of the week to schedule my hysterectomy! he has to call a couple of specialists to find out which kind of hyster would benefit me more....all or just leaving the ovaries. so we shall see what happensl..

Hysterectomy? You are 22 what the hell! Can they do something to save it. OMG I am not even looking at the no baby thing I am concerned about the long term effects the loss of hormones can have on you. My thoughts and prayers are with you :)

well we talked and since endometriosis feeds off of estrogen the less hormones i have going through my system, the better. but i am so young and the hot flashes/early menopause will be a bitch, but i would so much rather have that than everything else i have been going through. thank you for the prayers! they are much needed rightnow :)

What the...?! Wow, I'm so, so sorry about this. Let us know when the op will be, and I'll be keeping you in my thoughts and wishes. I understand what you mean about the estrogen and hormones and needing to have less of them. I pray that you feel SOOOOOO much better after the op. My mum took vitamin E capsules and fish oil capsules to reduce inflammation and scar tissue after that operation. I'm not sure if it helped - might be worth checking out?
