Hey all! Sorry it's been so long since I have updated much...I've been sick and going through some tough times.
For all things Endo related, I can't say much is working. I switched birth control and now I am on Seasonique, but with some serious clotting and spotting comes pain and discomfort. Hopefully once I get more into the pill pack (on my second month) things will regulate more and I will feel better. If not, I get to have another Laparoscopy...which really sucks because I don't currently have health insurance.
Now the fun stuff. I have started Humira. I did my four initial loading doses, then two weeks later did the next two loading doses, and now today I am beginning my cycle of one dose every other week. It's something I can definitely get used to, but the pain from the injection is so awful. It stings sooooo bad. But I guess in time I will get used to that as well. I'm finally off the prednisone and I am hoping the side effects it has caused will begin to disappear. I feel a bit better, but not quite 100 percent. Here's hoping things begin to shape up!

I hate the constant trials of different cocktails and strengths of all these drugs :( I just changed birth control pills and have added a couple other things for my belly problems, and it's difficult to endure the initial period where the body has to get used to the new drugs.
So glad you're off the prednisone now! WooHoo!! That stuff stays in the body for a long time, so it takes ages for the side effects to go completely, but, they do go. Hang on to that! :)
Fingers crossed that you get much better very soon :-)

Sounds like things are looking up for you! i'm on the seasonique and I love it; my periods have totally stopped. I've had one episode of break through bleeding in 2 1/2 years. I hope it works for you. glad to hear you got your humira. hopefully this turn for the better will continue.
