I feel as though I have been so neglectful to everybody on here lately! They bumped me up to full-time status, and my crohn's has been getting worse. But, here's what's been going on.

I have been tapering off the Prednisone 5mg every week, and just yesterday I started on 15mg!! I'm SO close to getting off of it...but because, as my doctor puts it, I am "steroid dependent" due to my type of Crohn's, my flare is in mega-mode right now, and I had a HORRIBLE at the ER two nights ago. I literally threatned the staff and told them I would burn down their houses. Yeah. It was terrible. I was in SO much pain, they gave me IV fluids. Took blood. Did TWO rectals (they needed a stool sample, but as I toldthem, they won't find anything because I had gone four times prior to that. I also told them to be careful becasue I have 4 fistulas)...the first rectal was okay. It hurt, but nothing too bad. The second whore that came in didn't even introduce herself, just shoved her stupid fingers u pthere, DUG WITH HER FINGERNAILS, and when I screamed, cried, and called her a cunt, she finally left. Assholes. Right after that, I asekd, again, for pain meds (been there two hours still hadn't received any), and they discharged me with a prescription for 8 vicodin and the doc told me "if you are still concerned in the morning, call your actual doctor".....grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

So. Needless to say, I've been pretty peeved lately. My birthday is the 18th of next month. I'm pretty excited!! Not sure what I'm going to do, though. I've been so sick.

Oh...I also just mailed in my Humira paperwork, so soon I should be starting that! I need something so bad, because I am in a TON of pain. Ugh.
