Well I feel as though I am drowning in medical debt. It got to the point where I have contacted a debt counseling agency. I gave them all of my information and will be contacted shortly. Basically they help me negotiate with my creditors and set up a once a month payment they deduct from my checking account and dispense it to my creditors. It isn't much, but I really think getting an outsiders' perspective and help will really take a lot of stress off of me. I am just so overwhelmed with everything, plus I'm in the beginning stages of another flare up. I am just hoping once I start getting this debt taken care of, things will get easier.

If you join a debt counseling agency, feel good about yourself for doing it! It will take a load off your shoulders. I joined one 4 years ago...I had debt from my dad passing away and he didn't have life insurance....I had to pay all his bills off, too. I was $25,000 in debt......and if you stick with the monthly payments, people can't all and bug you!!! Good luck to you....I think you are doing the right thing!
