  I hope it works out this time with Imuran,Imuran worked so good for me but the sideeffects I got from it (jointpain)were to terrible that I could not walk and of course when I stopped that med. my flare came back and now I'm back on ' EVIL" well really hope for you that you won't have any problem with Imuran.

  I just saw this rash on my lower leg and it looks like I shaved my legs &got those pimples that u get sometimes....well I totally forgot about it that I had it before...I rember u saying something about the rash and the discription and so on well this is one of prednisones sideeffects,do u still have that rash on ur belly? I googled it down back then ,if u go on google and write down sideeffects on prednisone u be surprize what u find. Thought I let u know about this....

  I understand! I just been on it for like almost 5 weeks now and this time it seems preds helping me faster to get this MOONFACE it is helping my Colititis but what do we get in return?Well my Hubby is comming back to see us for Christmas...he has seen the worse of me &I guess he will get over it this time that his Trophy wife fell in the dumpster lol I hope u will be better soon,what I wonder so if u still in a flare why do they taper u down? Well just wondering,wish u too a painfree week,hugs Birgit

  Hey there! I've been on Imuran since 9/18, so about 2 1/2 months. My dosage was increased from 100mgs to 150mgs a few weeks ago. Once the dosage was increased, I started feeling really sick to my stomach and started getting headaches. The nausea has sort of subsided but I'm still getting headaches. I don't take a multi vitamin. I have to be careful with supplements because I'm on warfarin for blood clots and any little supplement seems to affect the warfarin. But I may have to try it anyway. I have an appt with my GI in a couple of weeks so I'll ask him about it. Hang tough with the Imuran. I don't want to jinx it but I think I'm starting to see improvement since being on it. Well, at least I don't have so much gut pain, so that's something. Have a good night! Rachelle

  Never mind! I just read your about me thingy,so u r on preds! What a evil pill huh? It helps me with my UC but the terible side effect is so bad ,sometimes I really wonder which one is worse the illness or prednisone?

  First thank you for adding me to your friendlist,I love making new friends here.Well my Jointpain was mostly in my ankles,they just hurt when I got up walking,it took me a few steps to get moving.Than I got this rash in my face I look like a teenager in puperty lol.Now its gone. I was for a month on steroids now I look like a moon who is 12 month pregant,get the bloading from steroids. But today was my last pill,hope I can stay off from it. I started last year in Dec with the steroids and was on for 8 month than had a 3 mos break but I got a flare up again(Ulceractive colitis)How are you doing with all the meds? Have you been on prednisone?Oh yeah hope u had a good turkey day!

  Hi I was reading ur add in disscussion,now I'am nosy lol where did the rash came from on ur stomac? I have that rash in my face yeah Lucky me huh,but mine looks more like dry red skin and it is itchy,I' was on Imuran but had to stop cuz my jointpain were so severe that I could not walk.Hope to hear from you!
