Close Blindness & Visual Impairment
Type: Legally BlindDad went today for a shot called visudine (spelling) now he can't go out into the sun for a week. The doc says his left eye is gone and right eye is bleeding in three areas. Hope it works. Anyone ever had these shots. Are there side effects? He is 76 and in not such good health.

- Laser Surgery Too Soon to Tell
- Just had it done today. We will see.
Close Fibromyalgia
I have been in pain for as long as I can remember. It only has gotten worse. I was in a terribe car accident and broke my back. They put a rib on my spine to fuse it. That was 20 yrs. ago and the pain has only gotten worse. Most doctors tell me it is in my head. It is good to see others who can share with me their experiences.

Open Alcoholism
Wife of a functioning alcoholic. Been married for 27 years. Can't take much more. Kids are grown and he no longer has any desires to do anything but drink.
Open Bipolar Disorder
My sister is 38 years old. She lives with my mom and dad and her son who is 4. She says she is bipolar although I feel it is drug abuse. How do you know? How do you convince a person to seek help because it is running the family and causing legal issues. I need any advice I can get.
