I am compulsive gambler. I can never again forget that, but I am also a 56 year old single women. I live in Washington state with my 8 year old very necrotic golden retriever named Boliver. I would have had 4 years of gambling free on September 12, 2008. Unfortunately I let the itty bitty shitty committee talk me into believing I was cured. I am now starting over and finding a much better way of life

I am a pathalogical gambler, who WOULD OF HAD 4 years today, if I had not decided that I could go back out, this time control my gambling. I have been back out off and on for the past 6 months. I have not been back to my home meeting in the past 3 months, I cant seem to find the strength to go back. I convinced myself that my gambling was only to video poker, Casnios werent my problem. Wow was I ever wrong! I am addicted and now strugling to stop once again!
Treatments
- Distancing Working / Worked
- For me to stop I have to combine Counciling, GA, and lock myself away in a treatment center. It all worked until I stopped going to GA, stopped counciling after 3 years, and let the itty bitty committee in my head take over.
- Gamblers Anonymous Working / Worked
- GA helped me allot but I must say that without added couciling I would not have ever made the almost 4 years I had.
