    • Ray of Sunshine

      From crab Yesterday

      Hello Joreece1,

How are things going for you? I have insomnia now a days so I'm up hanging out.
My son and daughter in law are in Aus, they go every winter.
He can get more work over there than in Michigan & I'll bet the weather is great.
Long ways to go for a job, must be spectacular there.

      Hope your feeling well.

I hope this hug provides you with a little joy, or a lot for that matter. Be HAPPY, make a habit of it, and you will live happily everafter, Tim.

Aussie women have a habit of being straight to the point, and precise, they know where the bulleye is, and hit it always, so tell me Jo, are you a true blue Aussie woman, just as I am your male equivalent perhaps? Re. your comment on on my journal three times back.

    • I’m With You

      From BeatinBP October 12

It is not my intention to be confronting with you, so if I have made you feel uncomfortable in any way then please accept my sincerest apology for making you so, and please understand also that it is, and would never be, an intention of mine to deliberately hurt you at all, because to do so would raise the obvious question, why?

I was abused as a child, and my daughter suffers PTSD as a result also of past traumatic trauma. Since her ordeal in particular I have studied PTSD and have concluded, that essentially speaking, it is an illogical condition because the sufferer of is unable to properly comprehend abuse sustained without in some way blaming themselves for the pain inflincted on them by ANOTHER person/s.

We CANNOT be held responsible for the actions of others, and yet, if we suffer PTSD we somehow CAN, and such is ILLOGICAL to think so, hence we build on top of this initial mistake in the first place, and common sense thinking takes a back seat as a result.

Does this make any sense at all to you? Apparently 70% of all physical illnesses are psychologically related, I have relative experience in my own life to support the fact that prolonged negative thinking can make you physically sick in some way, whether it is applicable to 70% of the time is not for me to challenge, but I would not be surprised in fact if the percentage was higher.

Having said all that, I believe PTSD is the worst offender of all, because not only are you stressed from your initial trauma, you become even more so when you are unable to properly comprehend such. I sincerely believe that PTSD is a weapon of SELF destruction.

Not many of us escape abuse of any kind in our lives, and it is because of this that I am inclined to believe that more of us than is known suffer PTSD to some degree. Are you aware of how our conscious/subconscious minds operate?
