Interests
Researching MS which I think is linked to other diseases like CFS through RLS link. some of my ideas are on www.RAMSwebsite.net After making changes to diet by taking 90% of wheat out. Plus added Vit D, fishoil, B vitamins, Co EnQ10, ALA, Flaxseed oil. He went from relapses every 2 1/2 months for first 9-10 months to now just over 3 years with no relapses. Not a cure but have slowed disease progression. Finally got his other tests I asked for back. He is also low in ALP, Bilrubin(.9 on .8-1.4 scale), total protein and testosterone. Think the last maybe affecting the others. I am upping zinc, copper and veggie protein. Also asking the GP, who think his numbers are fine, to see an endocrinologist. So we can increase testosterone from 334 up to 600-650 (high is 827). If others have hormone imbalance/resistance or liver malfunction(process hormones and centralto metabolism) then they may have tissue degrade. Vit D is turned inot a secosteroid hormone and B vitamins are essential to proper metablism and part of the puzzle. If you think this may pertain to you go to your doc and ask for testing. If your results are in the bottom 10-15% on the range then ask what you can do to get the numbers to MID-range.

recently dx. I am going to take the meds to get over the initial hump but then I want to go on GNC mega green multivitamin, D3(I am VERY deficient in), fishoil, ALA, Probiotics and Prebiotics to feed good gut bacteria. All of the last supplements reduce inflammation and protect the colon lining both issues in this disease. I already have a diet low in gluten. I just need to stick to this daily plan and hope to reduce symptoms to lead a hopefully normal life.
