Interests
Animals of all kinds, ice cream, my Nintendo DS (Harvest Moon rocks!) --- I came to Daily Strength (the other DS) to help me help grampa... I stayed because it's an amazing place. I hope to be of service anywhere I'm called to help, and learn some things in the process........................................................... In the interest of full disclosure, I need to say that I sometimes join groups here that don't describe my life experiences. I do so for a number of reasons: to help a DS friend, to research a topic that is becoming meaningful to me in some way, or because I have a special place in my heart for persons in certain situations, to name a few. I don't want to portray myself as a victim of sexual abuse, for instance, because thank god I was not... but I do have an understanding of the emotions involved.
