Hello! I checked out your blog (and CV!) :) and am really excited about reading your upcoming book. Congratulations! I am also happy to meet another person with manic depression who also studies it! I've removed all my professional stuff from my profile, but I am a sociology phd student who, until very recently, focused all my attention on mental illness diagnostic categories. I recently finished a book chapter (my first publication- yeah! :) ) on the social construction of BP- focusing mostly on spectrums. Anyway, I decided that studying BP was "too close to home" so I have moved on to other things, at least temporarily. I'd love to get into some discussions with you about your work sometime. Hope you have a nice week...
Hope you are doing well :) Thanks for all your efforts to help others with BP.
I found info about your book in the Bipolar recommendation section and followed it here. Your profile and book look interesting. Good luck!
20 years. with three years of one crisis after another ending in hospitalization which motivated me to stay as sane as i could and to write Bipolar 101 (book and blog).
