Close Dyslexia

My 4th grade daughter is dyslexic. Being a single middle class working mother of two- I've struggled with my daughter seeking tutors- and battling public schools with how they address children with dyslexia. We study from 6-10 every night just to keep up with assignemts. I can't afford additional tutoring so I have been battling this by myself begging her school to really understand something I barely understand myself. I'm overwhelmed and torn between neglecting my youngest for my oldest.

Vision Therapy Working / Worked

A tutor once suggested that we use colored paper for assignments... it helps her complete assignemts as far as time management but we still have to go back and correct answers- handwriting - or with math fractions that she has written reversed- or problems she has answered in a reverse form. I'm told this method helps grab the attention of the child and assist with focus and sight. I think it helps and there is a difference in her grades and time management when used or not used.
