ENSLAVED Mood
Saturday, September 13, 2008 | A Poem/Artistic story

ENSLAVED

Addicted to passion driven by rage,

enslaved to your lust in this darkened cage.

How did I get here? Can I get out?

Can someone explain what this is about ?

The light is in view, yet the darkness surrounds.

I can't seem to lift all the guilt that abounds.

Giving in to your poison diabolicaly made,

will I for eternity be your slave?

Are you my master? Are you my god?

Or are you just hiding beneathe this facade?

When will you free me? When can I run?

Now that your fiendish damage is done.

At first, you are soothing, I feel no shame.

But after we're done, shall I feel the same?

Trapped in this prison, O who has the key?

When is the time that I shall be free?

I must gather my strength I possess deep within.

I'm tired of suffering from all of your sin.

I need to reject you, the time has come

to escape to the light, running free in the sun.

Oh where is your "bite" now? Where is your "sting"?

You're whispering words that will fade in the wind.

For I will be free, you'll have no control.

And you'll never again recapture my soul.

I've opened the door, I'm about to run loose.

I'll never again feel your wicked abuse.

Here is my face that you'll not see again.

The time has now come for your conquest to end!
