Close Rheumatoid Arthritis
I have had RA for over 20 years. I need some support with this chronic disease.
Treatments
- Azathioprine Working / Worked
- I have been on this for 13 years. Because it doesn't work specifically on symptoms, it is hard to tell if it is helping or not.
- Celebrex Somewhat Helpful
- Folic Acid Working / Worked
- Methotrexate Not Working
- Orencia Not Working
- Plaquenil Not Working
- Prednisone Working / Worked
- Heve been on prednisone off and on for years. there are some pretty awful side effects including mood swings, hot flashes and weight gain ( I gained 30 lbs in 3 mo.) It is dose related(less pred, less side effect) So, it is wise to take the least amount possible. It is a great anti imflamatory.
- Relafen Working / Worked
- Remicade Working / Worked
- It worked for 7 years rreally well, until I developed antiboties to it.
- Voltaren Somewhat Helpful
Close Lupus
I have symptoms of Lupus and RA. I also have two friends with Lupus. I would like to find out as much as posible about the disease and support.
