Well, its hard going but its great to find this site and see that lots of other people are having the same, or in some cases a much harder journey …
hi, haven't seen you on in months. i'm not on too much any more. hope all is well. do you have swine flu in your part of the world? we've only had 3 cases in my state. about an hour away in both directions. hope things are going really good for you. i'm doing good. had thumb surgery. recovering nicely. just need to get strength back now. don't know if i'll be able to get the other one done. hubby works at the timken company. they are laying off 3000 world wide. right now he has one week off a month. if he gets layed off we won't have insurance, so i wouldn't be able to have surgery. so it's in gods hands. doesn't pay to worry about it. have a wonderful day.
Hi, Good to hear from you. Would love to see some of your paintings posted on your site.
Hi, Hope all is going well for you. Have a wonderful day.
What does that mean that you are redundant in 2 weeks?
Hope you have a nice weekend.

Nice to know I am not nuts and that I will survive all this! For the last six months I have had crumbling nails, chest pains, numb left arm and fingers (checked by doc and A&E and all ok thank god!), and my reflux has gone mad and means I have to take more medication which hurts my joints even more! But I think just knowing that we all suffer from it and that we all feel just as scared and silly and have just as hard time getting docs to take us seriously, helps enormously - sisterhood helps!
I have had reflux since my late twenties and been on and off medications at various times. During the last 4 years I have been on constant medication and only been able to get off for about 6 months before it goes mad again and I suffer worse than ever after that. Recent visit to the doc and they said I might never get off the meds and be one of these people that can't carry any weight or it aggravates my eosophogus (currently too heavy at 5ft 3ins and 148lbs but working on it!)
