I hope you are all well by now. Unfortunately I am still having issues. My face is getting more pralysed and the tinnitis is maddening. I am going to see some specialist in Albuquerque. Just keep praying and being positive!! Take care.

Thanks so much for your note. I hadn't heard that your eye would look bigger if it is drier but I guess that makes sense. Did your dr. tell you that? My dr. was little help.... I have now also gone to an opthamologist to check my eye (vision fine) just to make sure it is okay and may eventually go to the 'lid specialist' dr re: my eye - lack of blink, size, etc. to see if there is anything they can do. i am going to wait though as I know it could still be healing a little - although it doesn't seem like it is. trying to be patient and put it in perspective. no matter how bad i look. when you say you can still tell your eye is dif/bigger -- is it really minimal or can people that know you well (hubby, etc.) tell too? take care.

Close Bell's Palsy
I am now 2 weeks in with BP. I think I am going to go crazy. Please tell me it gets better!!!! I am having a hard time leaving the house because I don't want to talk to people. when i do they look at my mouth and then say " I am sorry what did you say" I HATE talking!!! I don't know how much longer I can take this. My eye stays open ALL the time, I can't eat,drink, sleep. I can't be in loud places, and my ear. Oh my gosh if this sound does not stop in my ear I think I am going to go NUTS.
Treatments
- Prednisone Too Soon to Tell
- I think it did help with some of the swelling
- Zovirax Too Soon to Tell
- Not sure if it did anyhting
