Close Lyme Disease
Wow, tell my story..got very sick in 97-migraines, TIA, seizures, etc. had all sorts of tests & all were negative. A spinal tap turned up positive for Lyme. I have been a medical walking nightmare ever since. There is not a part of my body that has not been affected by this awful disease. I am now disabled by the courts & can't help wondering if this will EVER get any better. I've been told that it won't. I take 51 pills a day..list is too long to fit here! - Used to stay awake during the day....I also have narcolepsy...without it I would sleep for 18 hours at a stretch...this is a life saver for me!

Close Epilepsy & Seizures
Have a seizure/movement disorder due to Neuro Lyme Disease. Began in 1997. Still not fully controlled. Dr's don't know what else to do to help.

Open Narcolepsy
Started with Narcolepsy a couple of years ago. Dr. believes it was brought on by my Lyme infection of the Neuro system of the brain. Taking medication daily to help keep me more alert.

Open Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS)
Have suffered from IBS for MANY years now. I will soon be undergoing a very drastic surgery in order to correct my problem. I have been diagnosed with Colonic Inertia. Basically, a very slow moving colon. Also possible that I have a Rectocele. Will be tested for that soon. The surgery for the CI is not an easy solution, but the good side is that they will connect my small intestine to my bowel which will stop the need for a colostomy. They will remove the entire large intestine (colon).
