Well Sora had a check-up today, she's 3wks old now. She's doing great and gained almost a pound in a week! We have thrush though. I wasn't too worried about it untill I read a few articles and realized that's it's probably in my milk ducts, I've had it for at least a week probably longer and that it's probably going to be much harder to get rid of than I thought it would. *ugh* this is my fourth baby and I've never had this problem before. I blame it on all the antibiotics I was on in the first 2wks postpartum. SOOoooo our journey to kill the yeast begins! I hope my doc will help me since he only gave me one dose of oral anti-fungal stuff and from what I'm reading- once it's in the milk ducts, it takes MUCH more to kill it off....mmm now how do I explain to the doc that I think I know better than him how to kill the yeast in my breasts? (preferably w/o offending him since I really like him as a doctor.....)
