Well I think that everyone may finally be un-sick for now. (I hope) Flu season has hit our area just as hard as the bigger areas, which is unusual since we don't get hit hard here and it's usually later than everywhere else because we're so small and isolated as a community. Well Tiyler was sick when Sora was born, then Wulf and I came down with it- then Tiyler was sick again. I was able to get the kids the H1N1 vaccine which is good since our area would NOT have given it to them had our doctor not fought for it. We have VERY few doses but our doctor feels that families with newborns and especailly those that also have school aged children should be a priority. I'm still waiting on mine though, our insurance is dumb like that. At least when I'm sick I can pass the antibodies on to Sora though with this flu season being so bad, Todd and I are super worried about her getting sick and ending up in the PICU or worse as Wulf did as a newborn. We watch her like a hawk and her poor sibling haven't gotten much of a chance to hold her since they've been so sick. The cough is still lingering here and Jade has yet to get sick (thankfully!!) Todd refuses vaccines, his choice. His family feels that vaccines are a worthless waste of time, but then again his mother is insane. I'm still trying to track down vaccines for the seasonal flu- I'm sure that will be easier to aquire though.
