Thanks! I used to smoke 2 packs a day of the strongest fags available...if I can quit, so can he. What made me quit over 10 years ago, cold turkey, was a question from my good friend: "Do you really have to be a slave to the cigarette?" Wow! That got my world rocking. She was right. My life revolved around the cigs...1st in the morning, always looking for coffee to accompany it, and with that a muffin or other snack..Phone call? Hang on a minute, let me get a cig! You know, it had actually made me fat? I LOST weight after I quit smoking! Patches and stuff, nicorette, had not helped. I had tried in vain to quit numerous times, since I picked up smoking after my dear mom died. And I knew that she would be rolling in her grave if she saw me light up. I was the worst, most recalcitrant smoker! The kind that smoked on the back seat of the city bus! Naughty, naughty! Anyway, have a talk with hm, and see if this type of reality question can jolt him awake, and inspire him to want to quit! It also helped that every time instead of a cig, I chewed gum, strong gum, like Excel. It satisfied my craving to have something in my mouth, tasted clean like toothpaste, and helped me keep from lighting up! Hopefully, he will be able to wing it!

I went in to the doctor with heavy bleeding. She told me I was pregnant (i din't know) that i had been about 8 weeks and that i was miscarring. The doctors tried everything to make the bleeding stop. nothing worked until they did an emergency D&C. I lost a lot of blood and had to stay in the hospital for 2 days on observation,

- The D&C was not painful. i didn't like the aneshtic used but it did stop the bleeding.
